olio-villa-mazziEXTRA VERGIN OLIVE OIL
Our olives are cultivated biologically and hand-picked when they are just beginning to ripen and have their maximum antioxidant potential.
The cultivars grown are those classic to the area: Correggiolo, Leccino, Moraiolo, Frantoio.
Within 24 hours of harvesting the olives are cold pressed guaranteeing a lesser acidity than is traditional.
The  oil thus produced has a clear green colour with hints of golden yellow, an intense aroma of fresh grass and an elegant taste resembling almonds and artichokes.
Suitable for either elaborate dishes, simple bruschetta  and soups or to dress our typical Tuscan dishes.

miele-villa-mazzi-montepulcianoHONEY
Honey is a food that bees produce from nectar of flowers or from other plant secretions that they suck, transform and combine with their own particular substances and leave to mature in the  beehive.
As with all of our activities the production of honey take place with our traditional complete respect of nature.
The colour  and aroma of the honey depends on the plants visited by the bees and therefore from the type of pollen used to produce it.
Each variety of honey has its own particular therapeutic property.

confetture-villa-mazziPRESERVES
On the farm we have many fruits, some growing spontaneously  such as figs, blackberries and wild cherries, others are cultivated such as pears, plums, apricots, cherries, apples and strawberries.
Our plants are not treated with pesticides, they are only pruned and the land around them turned over.
The availability of the various types depends on the season and annual production.
